[edit]Why is EVERYONE badmouthing the video game?
I played it (A few minutes ago) and it looks good. RocketMaster 06:41, 11 May 2006 (UTC)
Well, because the video game sucks. 67.164.200.123 00:39, 29 June 2006 (UTC)
This was, quite possibly, the worst game ever made. The graphics were terrible, the music was nauseating, complete lack of useful documentation and the play control was so bad that it was actually described in a letter written to Nintendo and published in Nintendo Power magazine as "Akin to attempting to dance Swan Lake with an elephant strapped to your back." And then there's the Haunted House. Four. Years. Unsubstantiated, true. But still, four years before the greatest minds of Gamefaqs actually managed to come up with a way to beat the fourth level. So, yeah. That's why.
I wanted to add my review of this game to the article, but they aren't letting me. --BHMode 10:00, 3 September 2007 (UTC)
I would watch the Nostalgia critics review of the game to see how bad it was. http://thatguywiththeglasses.com/videolinks/thatguywiththeglasses/nostalgia-critic/994-video-game-review —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.81.130.225 (talk) 18:16, 10 October 2008 (UTC)
Racism?
[edit]Shouldn't there be something about controversy over the question of racism (not that I've seen the film myself)? I found it mentioned in the "list of video games considered the worst ever", and was surprised that it wasn't mentioned here. --Lenoxus 02:35, 4 June 2006 (UTC)
The film isn't racist, the game isn't racist. I've played the game, and the link you provided clearly states why it is regarded as one of the worst games produced. Nothing to do with racism and I'm black BTW. Panda
Nintendo Seal of Quality?
[edit]How did the video game get the Nintendo Seal of Quality when it's a horrible game?
- Nintendo gave everything that came out on any nintendo system at the time it's "seal of quality"
- The Nintendo seal of quality was made to show consumers the difference between licensed Nintendo games, and unlicensed games (which they didn't make money on). The NES had a major problem with unlicensed software, (although not as bad as the Atari 2600) but the SNES had only 1 game which was unlicensed (Super 3D Noah's Ark). The debatable quality of gameplay & enjoyment has nothing to do with the seal of quality. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.206.124.190 (talk) 06:03, 31 August 2008 (UTC)
WHAT?
[edit]Remove that dumb Trivia complaint by Wikipedia. Why is that tag hanging over this article when there is a shiitload of other film articles that have a Trivia section that equally matches the length of the main article itself?? Is it because the article was more popular with white culture, thus making the trivia additions less monitored? I'm not going to pull out the "race card" until a wikipedia admin can give me a logical explanation as to why the aforementioned articles weren't tagged as well.. Panda
- Isn't it funny the people who always cry racism, are the biggest racists? Every entry of yours is about race. Pro black, anti-white. You defend the black articles citing racism yet find it perfectly fine to call Sean Hannity a mick? Obviously you feel it's okay for you to be racist, huh? Angrymansr 14:33, 9 November 2007 (UTC)
Trivia
[edit]There is no good reason that this trivia section needs to exist. It is not only full of non-trivia type items (LeShawn or Khalil are 5 years old? What a revelation, one of the might be 5...but we don't know who), it is not sourced, and does not belong. If you can source these items and add to the article's content, so be it.
- There might be clues that LeShawn has a few feelings for Leon. When Khalil hits Leon on the head, LeShawn hits Leon on the head and asks her "Why are you always picking on me?" and Khalil said that his sister's crazy about him. There is a scene were Leon plays the weight machine and the other 3 pick on him about being a weenie. Leon says "At least my Mama's here." he makes LeShawn angry. Then, Khalil pushes Leon into LeShawn and they kiss. Pee-Wee and Khalil start to laugh but she comes back with a sledgehammer. When Robin takes the kids home, LeShawn gazes in Leon's eyes and then she slaps him.
- All the toons' noses have an intentionally drawn loop.
- When the background music is rather upbeat, the characters can be seen walking to the beat. The examples are when the woman in the green skirt walks towards Robin at the bar, when Robin gets out of the car and walks towards Jameka, and when Peewee gets off his tricycle and walks towards Robin.
- According to Khalil, it is revealed that the surname of Bebe's kids is Wooten so the real names of Bebe's kids are LeShawn Wooten, Khalil Wooten and Pee-Wee Wooten. Leon's surname is unknown.
- After Robin leaves an argument with Dorethea, Vivian says "He still loves you."
- It is revealed that LeShawn or Khalil is 5 years old
- In the Straight Jacking song, PeeWee says he's 3 years old but he drinks Similac.
- Leon's song, Freedom is a parody compared to George Michael's We Are
- In a spoken word track called "Death" on Ice Cube's Death Certificate album, Khalid Abdul Muhammad references the film, saying "Bebe's kids, we don't die, we multiply."
- According to Pee-Wee, it is revealed that the Pizza man does not come to their neighborhood anymore, the neighborhood is located as 14th & W. Davison, based in Detroit, Michigan.
- Leon was said to be a Mama's boy but since the infamous Leon-LeShawn kiss, Khalil said Leon had a little Bebe in him.
Bundled with all releases of the film (theatrical, TV, home video (VHS and DVD) was an animated short subject, Itsy Bitsy Spider, which later became an animated series for the USA Network. It starred the voice talent of Jim Carrey as the exterminator.
A video game[1] based upon the movie was released on the Super Nintendo. This game is regarded by many gamers as one of the worst games ever made, mostly for its repetitious music and difficult gameplay.
A soundtrack was also released for the film on August 25, 1992. The tracks contained on it were:
- Tear It Up (On Our Worst Behavior) by Immature
- I Got It Bad, Y'All by King Tee
- I Got The 411 by Urban Prop
- It Takes Two To Make A Party by Maxi Priest featuring Little Shawn
- 66 Mello by New Version of Soul
- Oh No! by Arrested Development
- Straight Jackin' by Bebe's Kids (The voices of)
- Freedom Song by Bebe's Kids (The voices of)
- I Ain't Havin' It by Faizon Love
- Standing On The Rock Of Love by Aretha Franklin
- Your Love Keeps Working On Me by Joey Diggs
- Can't Say Goodbye The O'Jays
- Deeper by Ronald Isley
- All My Love by Phil Perry featuring Renee Diggs
- I Want To Thank You For Your Love by The Emotions

Trivia
[edit]The film is a cult classic among many people, not just African Americans. The trivia section should have been kept in. Look at the Napoleon Dynamite trivia... Why was the trivia removed? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.193.101.49 (talk) 01:49, 10 February 2008 (UTC)
- It was removed because the trivia in the article was atrocious. Many of the items weren't even trivia, just someone's observations such as the nose's have loops. You are free to source any of the items above and add them to the article. Angrymansr (talk) 13:23, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
