I do not think it would be wise to merge this article either way. There are so many observations and polls of their rivalry that makes sense to me to expand and improve this article and keep it as the separate one.--Taribuk (talk) 06:10, 19 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

IMO it would be more useful to spin-off Cultural impact of the Beatles#Contemporary rivals and expand upon all the different artists that "challenged" the group, not just the Stones.--Ilovetopaint (talk) 06:09, 3 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
