Teen Titans movie 2009
[edit]Is there any crediable evidance for this? Such as a link to a website or a reference to a magazine? Until such evidance is credited to the article, I think that the Teen Titans Movie 2009 part should be removed Dinobert (talk) 04:08, 4 March 2008 (UTC)dinobert06 :)
Beast Boy of Legion
[edit]There was a Beast Boy from the 30th Century who fought alonside the Legion of Superheroes as a part of the Heroes of Lallor. I don't know enough about the Legion to add an article but perhaps someone with the background could either add to the current BB article or start a Beast Boy (30th Century) article. Jackbox1971 06:08, 20 March 2006 (UTC)
- There is now a passage to this effect here. Ted Watson 18:08, 12 June 2007 (UTC)
Beast Boy's color
[edit]Anyone wish to tackle why Beast Boy was originally purple in his early Doom Patrol appearences, and later green? I don't know the answer myself! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.161.124.96 (talk) 20:33, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
It's a mask. He wore a purple mask when he first became a superhero. Jerky Chid (talk) 08:19, 17 June 2008 (UTC)
Beast Boy's Diet
[edit]How can BB's dietary issues be unimportant? --User:Angie Y.
- It already says that he's a vegan. Besides, tofu is probably just one thing that he eats. --InShaneee 15:52, 3 August 2005 (UTC)
Please revert this page back to the unreverted state. -- User:Angie Y.
Tofu is not the only thing he eats. Remember the burger vs borito episode Nomsese (talk) 22:01, 21 March 2019 (UTC)
Chantge the image
[edit]Please change the image back in the infobox back to what is was. Thank you. --User:Angie Y.
- In a word, no. That image has been deleted, as far as I can tell. Also, this new image standardizes the article more closely to that of the other comic book characters on wikipedia (since the article is, primarily, about BB in comics). --InShaneee 14:09, 2 October 2005 (UTC)
Reference by real name (Animated series)
[edit]Isn't Cyborg the first male Titan to be called by his real name in the animated series? (Season 3, episode 1: "Deception"). He infiltrates the organization, run by Brother Blood, under the alias "Stone". Stone is his actual family name, his full name being: Victor "Vic" Stone. -Hecko 17:55, 12 December 2005 (UTC)
- They never indicated that was his real name, only his supervillain alias. KramarDanIkabu [[User talk:KramarDanIkabu|(speak)]] 17:56, 12 December 2005 (UTC)
- I see your point. Kind of when Robin's alternate dimension/universe self (the little guy in the episode "Fractured" from Season 2), was called Nosyarg Kcid (Dick Grayson, Robin's real name, spelled backwards). -Hecko 21:10, 13 December 2005 (UTC)
Beast Boy's personal life
[edit]It's not nice that someone deleted the info on BB's personal life. It should be put back. ya they should put it back immediately 😏
I don't think they removed it.The article is still there talking about how he uses humour to hide the fact that he had a hard, sad and miserable life I don't know if I'm wrong but maybe you edited this a long time ago and they did what you asked for and puted beat boy's personal life in the article so I hope I helped Jokerkick (talk) 14:53, 1 May 2021 (UTC)
Please Add The Beastboy Personal Life Info
[edit]Beastboy is the product of his personal life and his crime fighting career. It's like only telling people cyborg is a machine when it's the human part of him that makes him a hero. So please put the personal life part of his page back.
- Can one of the regulars to this page pare that down some? As it is, it's WAY to extensive (and it doesn't help that some anon keeps putting it all back). --InShaneee 03:33, 21 February 2006 (UTC) :P
Beast Boy and Raven's relationship
[edit]Is it okay that I added a like to that BB/Rav shipping forum?
- No. Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of links. This BBS is not canonical, highly trafficed, or relevant to the article. --InShaneee 22:22, 1 March 2006 (UTC)
In some ways it is because of the relationship they DID share in the comics for a while, and indeed before the events of "OYL", it's not relavant here because, as a 'shiiper forum it overexaggerates facts about the relationship in the animated series.
This is overzealous and untrue...i do NOT appreciate globally condemning remarks. NOT all shipper forums overexaggerate facts(some do but not ALL) most just interpret things a different way, much the same way that four different people standing at four different corners of an intersection will ALL have four different ideas about a crash. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.23.168.150 (talk) 03:32, 3 October 2007 (UTC)
I think its,OK to talk about beast boy and raven shippings (remember the bbrae episode)😂 Nomsese (talk) 22:05, 21 March 2019 (UTC)
I think there is nothing wrong with discussing beastie and Raven's relationship mean that is like 27percent of beast boy's life and this article is about beast boy after all Jokerkick (talk) 14:48, 1 May 2021 (UTC)
powers and abilities
[edit]in the powers and abilities section it says BB hasnt changed into any sort of worm/insect. but in one of the comics (it was collected in the TPB Family Lost but im unsure of the issue number) he turned into a tapeworm or something similar. Just a small point that would add to the accuracy.
Also through that, Beast Boy did not turn into a dragon from the animated series but is rather to use the "last resort' animal that is his super werewolf form.- User:Creation Christian
The Red
[edit]Does Beast Boy have a connection to The Red/Earth's Morphogenic Field, like Animal Man? Because that would make allot of sense. What about Vixen? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.14.158.214 (talk) 23:04, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
- It certainly does make a lot of sense, and maybe the fact---unless my memory sadly fails me regarding A--Man---that they all received their powers in Africa is relevant. If this concept hasn't turned up in the comics already, you might want to get it to some DC writer or editor. Ted Watson 20:00, 18 September 2007 (UTC)
Personal life
[edit]This needs to be integrated into the character history section. --DrBat 16:30, 23 June 2006 (UTC)
Beast Boy and Terra
[edit]Someone has added that they have a child in the future. Is this purely speculation? I'm guessing it is.
- It's not even that. It's hogwash. Kusonaga 07:57, 12 August 2006 (UTC)
I agree with Kusonaga beast boy and Terra won't have a child in the future Nomsese (talk) 22:08, 21 March 2019 (UTC)
He won't maybe he will have a child with Raven in teen Titans but if you are talking about Teen Titans go that will never happend Jokerkick (talk) 14:54, 1 May 2021 (UTC)
Real name?
[edit]The article indicates that Beast Boy's full, real name is Garfield Mark Logan. When and where was "Mark" established? In Gar's second ever story, in the original Doom Patrol series, his corrupt guardian Nicholas Galtry addressed him as "Craig," indicating that this was the boy's legal first name but he preferred to go by "Gar," short for "Garfield" (as established in New Teen Titans). Galtry, of course, would have just looked at the name on the papers and called the kid by what was listed as his first name, but soon picked up on "Gar" and started using it to look good to the court which had appointed him in the first place. Can't see any other explanation for "Craig." Note that my given first name below is "Ted," but this actually comes from my middle name; it happens. So I ask again, when and where was "Mark" established? Ted Watson 17:30, 7 June 2007 (UTC)
CLARIFYING UPDATE: In his first ever appearance, Beast Boy was called by nothing else (unless you count epithets), and "Gar" didn't come up until his third story ("Logan" was even later to be specified). Ted Watson 21:38, 14 July 2007 (UTC)
- It's been a year without a word, so I'm changing the real name in the info box to Craig Garfield Logan. Ted Watson (talk) 18:59, 21 July 2008 (UTC)
- His name has always been Gar Logan. Until they change it leave it alone.Brian Boru is awesome (talk) 00:25, 24 July 2008 (UTC)
- Did you even read any of what was already in this thread? If all you know is "Gar Logan" why are you insisting "Garfield Mark Logan" be in the box? As I accurately said, his first name was initially given as "Craig," and as it happens the surname "Logan" wasn't specified until a few issues after that, so you are incorrect to say "His name has always been Gar Logan," and it was totally irrelevant as I did not actually say his name was not "Gar Logan" anyway. "Craig Garfield Logan" does not indicate his name is not "Gar Logan" any more or less than "Garfield Mark Logan" does. Therefore, I'm putting my version back. Say something of relevant and genuine substance here--such as just where "Mark" comes from--or leave my edit alone. Ted Watson (talk) 18:33, 24 July 2008 (UTC)
- Your version's wrong. Changed back and sourced this time, so you can't accuse me of vandalism. Blue Mirage (talk) 06:54, 25 July 2008 (UTC)
- My version is not "wrong" but only out of date. Furthermore, I clearly did not accuse Brian Boru of "vandalism." As for your defense of your and his version, I checked DC's website's list of graphic novels, which states that your cited TPB is a reprint collection of Teen Titans #s 1-7 (2003 series?). The original issue would be a better citation, and I would be extremely surprised if you can't tell which it is from the book. Otherwise, you got me. By the way, my assembling the various statements into "Craig Garfield Logan" was unacceptable as synthesis, and I should have merely reduced the name to "Garfield Logan." My apologies to Wiki as a whole for that (for putting that up the other day, that is; I didn't know any better when I raised the question a year ago). Ted Watson (talk) 18:18, 25 July 2008 (UTC)

The current info box image
[edit]Damn, That is Nighcrawler with green skin and purple instead of red. Someone needs some originality, at least go for a character that has similar powers if you are going to rip off someone else's painting. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.181.253.68 (talk) 17:19, 27 February 2009 (UTC)
- At the least, the depiction of Beast Boy on the cover given as the source of this image, here is a different one. Hence, I am posting a note about this on the image's page, and deleting it from this article. --Ted Watson (talk) 22:09, 5 March 2009 (UTC)
- Unfortunately that's the solicitation image that DC released. As published in Previews vol XVI, #2 p98, it was also the electronic file DC released to on-line sources such as Comic Book Resources and DC's own site.

As an addendum to the above:
BeastboyOYL.jpg, the current infobox image has one or more issues in regard to the non-free content criteria policy, non-free content guidelines, and/or Comics Project infobox image guidelines. These issue(s) are:
Please also see File talk:BeastboyOYL.jpg for additional information. The upshot is that the current image presents the character as older than he is most commonly associated as being. Additionally, the elements within the image can and sometimes, as voiced at the start of this thread, do make for a confusing identification for the character. Please keep in mind that image taken from source like DC's Who's Who or Marvel's Official Handbook to the Marvel Universe cannot be used within the article. Once this issue is resolved, please add " |fixed=y " to the template generating this message. |

Opening ref. to Superboy
[edit]The intro contains the following sentence:
- In Superboy Comics #33 (6/54), Superboy meets a green creature from Outer Space that can morph into any animal it wants to (also green).
That is quoted exactly, all formatting and capitalization errors included; the intro is surely not where it belongs, either. This is logged on September 25, 2008, and attributed to IP 193.250.58.230. Putting all that together, it doesn't seem to be genuine. However, on October 8, 2008, user Fordmadoxfraud added a reference cite, to the The Vertigo Encyclopedia, specifically a chapter (or article, I don't know the book, but two different authors are involved) called "The Doom Patrol." That doesn't seem likely, given how little (IIRC, absolutely nothing) Beast Boy had to do with the Vertigo series of that feature, and the only potentially possible relevance is the parallels to him. If Ford... verifies his cite within a week, I'll merely clean up and relocate (to "Other versions") the sentence. If not, I'll remove it. --Tbrittreid (talk) 21:43, 6 July 2009 (UTC)
- Well, I'm a little late. Been busy, sorry. During that time I thought to check the Grand Comic-Book Database's index for that issue of Superboy. It does list a story in which Superboy accidentally obtains a pet with chameleonic abilities, which endangers his secret identity. As a "pet" it doesn't sound humanoid or particularly sentient, and therefore it doesn't seem close enough to be mentioned here (even if it and its various forms are green), so I will remove it. --Tbrittreid (talk) 21:47, 15 July 2009 (UTC)
Changing sizes in confined areas
[edit]This article mentions that beast boy in unable to increase in size in area which naturally don't have enough room for the animal that hes turning into. This is not the case in the storyline where cyborg collides with another cyborg (his old friend from the past). Beast Boy flies into the arm of the other cyborg and increases in size. Therefore, I believe the article should be changed to state that he cannot increase in size in a location where the strength of the structure would result in him being crushed from the pressure. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.1.105.49 (talk) 09:19, 2 January 2010 (UTC)
Ravagers
[edit]According to a newsrama interview, Beast Boy will be returning in the upcoming "Ravagers" comic book as one of the escapees from N.O.W.H.E.R.E. Additionally, his color has been changed to red to correspond to The Red in Animal Man. Someone who knows how to add references should add this to his page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.176.78.131 (talk) 09:34, 11 February 2012 (UTC)
