Comment

[edit]

This article was tagged when it was still under construction with the bullet list visibly in the process of creation. Information is more than a bare dictionary definition and no proposal of where it would be transwikied was in existence at the time in was CSD'd. --Peter cohen (talk) 14:55, 28 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

removed CSD. Article expanded beyond a simple definition. Cheers Gtstricky (talk) 15:04, 28 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks.--Peter cohen (talk) 15:17, 28 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Should be update to include the 2009 performances. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.106.49.9 (talk) 11:46, 28 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, I didn't notice this comment until now. The article has been updated, but I waited until the Bayreuth site which is the referenced source changed the statistics on their own page.--Peter cohen (talk) 17:04, 23 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Background colours

[edit]

Is it possible to tone down the rather lurid colouring? --Kleinzach 03:20, 21 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Well I chose ones that looked very different to someone with red-green (or brown-green) colour blindness. I also found it easier just to put in the names of major colours than try to pick ones from a chart when I don't know how they look to people with 3-colour vision. You can try proposing others and I can see whether they look different enough for me. Please be aware that this article is at FLC. Feel free to comment there.--Peter cohen (talk) 11:36, 21 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

More info about book in references

[edit]

Hi, I'm an editor from Galician wiki, we have translated this article to Galician but I want more information about a book used at references. The book "John, Nicholas (Series Editor) (1983a) English National Opera/The Royal Opera Guide Opera Guide 19, The Mastersingers of Nuremberg/Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg, Londres, John Calder", the reference shows that Nicholas John was the Series Editor, but what was the role of John Calder? I can't find the book in Google, could somebody help? Thanks in advance, Elisardojm (talk) 12:36, 4 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
