"Cottingham Castle" image
[edit]The posted image is described here as
An octagonal brick tower which was once part of "Cottingham Castle", a manor house owned by Thomas Thompson which stood here until the late 19th century (the actual castle or fortified manor at Cottingham, recorded in 1170 and also known as Baynard's Castle, was further east between Northgate and Hallgate).
This explicitly differentiates the picture from the subject of Baynard's Castle. Anyway, the article states Today, only the mound survives and A four-bay timber-framed house of circa 15th century (known as the Old Manor House) . . still stands on the site. So, sorry, but the image is unrelated and has to be removed from this article. Cheers Bjenks (talk) 02:13, 27 February 2009 (UTC)
- Ah, I see. Sorry about that. Cheers, --Magnus Manske (talk) 07:48, 27 February 2009 (UTC)
