Correcting some apparent inaccuracies
[edit]I have edited the article to correct a couple of apparent inaccuracies. Firstly, Lactantius is clear that the battle happens on the Campus Serenus between the first and second stations west of Heraclea Perinthus (the modern-day town of Marmara Ereğlisi). A previous editor has confused this location with Heraclea Sintica in modern Bulgaria.
Second, another editor also appears to have suffered a geographical misunderstanding when adding coordinates 41°17′5″N 31°24′53″E / 41.28472°N 31.41472°E that place the battle near Karadeniz Ereğli instead of Marmara Ereğlisi. I have adjusted the coordinates to 40°58′11″N 27°57′19″E / 40.96972°N 27.95528°E to match those for Marmara Ereğlisi, although they could be moved west to the actual battle site if a reliable modern reference for that can be found.
If any reader feels that these changes are unwarranted, I'd be happy to discuss them here. Rupert Clayton (talk) 00:20, 11 July 2013 (UTC)
