125th Anniversary of the Battle of Stormberg

Today, on the 125th Anniversary of the Battle of Stormberg, I deem it appropriate that a tribute be given to all the men who fought in that battle so long ago. The British troops who gallantly charged the defenses, despite their inner fears, and tried to uphold the Empire. And we must not forget the Boers, who had only invaded so that they may have a chance at defending their homes. They defended their position bravely in order to preserve their homelands.

May all those who fought there rest in peace, and be remembered as heroes for their country. PrivateRyan44 (talk) 19:21, 10 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
