This is confusing, as I have not found any information about this battle. There was a siege of Poznan, which took place in October and November 1704. Perhaps this article needs to be rewritten. Opinions? Tymek (talk) 17:52, 21 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
On the Polish Wikipedia in the article about siege of Poznań in 1704 is mention of a skirmish which took place August 18. So I think it is this battle but does not match the date. In this article about the siege, surely is the date in the Gregorian calendar, while in the Julian calendar is August 7 and Swedish calendar August 8, that is the difference 1 or 2 days. I see tomorrow whether Wimmer writes something about this battle. Kcdlp (talk) 00:38, 23 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Jan Wimmer in "Wojsko Rzeczypospolitej w dobie Wojny Północnej 1700-1717" on page 277, writes about this battle. Battle took place on August 18, Meijerfeldt was attacked by Schulenburg, Swedes were repulsed and forced to retreat towards of Toruń. Kcdlp (talk) 15:23, 23 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I fixed the broken link where you can read about the battle here, it seems like the Swedes only gained a tactical victory since they were shortly after forced to withdraw back to Poznan facing a much larger incoming force. This is sometimes considered a victory in the eyes of the allies. Imonoz (talk) 22:30, 1 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
