Article is inaccurate and biased

The bias in this article is inaccurate, trying to skew the riot as a race riot, when it was in fact over women, which is why it was censored at the time. (Race riots, such as the Zoot Suit and others, were reported.) The American troops, better paid, had been "consorting" with the Kiwi troop's wives and girlfriends while they were away in North Africa and elsewhere. I presume your comment was directed at the 2021 comment referring to the book 'Faithful warriors'? I rewrote the article using many sources but not that one. I believe it is now a neutral account. Wainuiomartian (talk) 23:22, 28 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Who are Bevan and Bioletti?: "But both Bevan (page 215) and Bioletti (page 149-150) dispute claims that there were two deaths."
