The "Aftermath" section of this article has the following paragraph which appears to have obivous bias without a reference. I think it should be removed.
"Norman Shwartzkopf having given Saddam Hussein operational permission for genocide by allowing his helicopter gunships will forever be to the United States shame but their decision to stop coddling Saddam Hussein in 2003 to some meagre degree begins to repay the Iraqis for this. The US is not just to be ashamed of what they did but actually by allowing it to happen and then 12 years of sanctions they allowed the best, most democratic & secular forces to be mown down and then immiserated those that were left, making their job of building a civil society much more difficult"

Chemical Weapons
[edit]This battle is listed at https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Iraq_and_weapons_of_mass_destruction#Chemical_weapon_attacks as one of the places where the Iraq regime used chemical weapons to suppress rebellious Iraqi citizens. Should that be included in the article? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2605:6000:3981:2400:F0D9:5D46:48C3:2CDF (talk) 17:45, 21 July 2020 (UTC)
I plan on rehauling this entire page, and sourcing everything
[edit]This entire article is extremely bias, it does not include any sources for huge accusations aganist the Iraqi Government, it also exaggerates a majority of the things that went-down, to call it a battle is already an overstatement, i have multiple sources, that are authentic, that showcase that this was simply a small-uprise inside of the karabla by iranians who infintrated into Iraq, the whole reason why the ""Battle"" didnt end in a matter of hours was because Saddam ordered the forces directly, not to attack the karabla, if the Iraqi army wanted too, they could of flattened the karabla, but instead they played the long game inorder to cause the least damage to it, because the insurgents/Iranians decided to use it a shield.
If anyone agrees to my overhaul, please let me know, if you disagree, please reply and state why. Local Mandaean (talk) 07:29, 10 August 2024 (UTC)
