Hoax?

[edit]

The only sources that I can find (other than Wikiopedia rip-offs) give this as another name for the Battle of Dennewitz on 6 September 1813. I suspect his article is a hoax. Mathsci appears to have reason to believe it took place in the 30 Years War -- was that a mistake, or is he in on the joke? Holding Ray (talk) 11:48, 30 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The edit above, and those to this article, seem to be unhelpful; indeed it looks like trolling.[1] Mathsci (talk) 12:45, 30 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Glad to see that Mathsci was able to find a mention in a tertiary source. I think that raises the article from the unverifiable to the merely non-notable. Holding Ray (talk) 16:09, 30 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
These remarks amount to little more than trolling. Mathsci (talk) 16:33, 30 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

To be merged?

[edit]

There's not much in the way of sources on this. One paragraph at the most. Looks like a WP:PERMASTUB. It should be merged to a larger article, but I'm not sure which one. Tijfo098 (talk) 12:17, 2 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Also needs a dab hat, because in the sole source cited there's another Battle of Jüterbog from 1813 during the Napoleonic Wars (Dennewitz). Tijfo098 (talk) 12:20, 2 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The correct link is Battle of Dennewitz. Please take a little more care in future. Thanks, Mathsci (talk) 12:52, 2 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I removed the merge tag as it has been there since May and since then the article has been expanded quite a lot. I expanded upon this more in the actual 30 Years War article. 82.32.31.15 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 19:44, 14 December 2011 (UTC).[reply]
