@Magherbin The battle of Hazalo was an Oromo victory. If you read this article [1] (pg 283) the battle was a major defeat for Nur and most of was army was killed, they also defeated another Ethiopian army in the region which was mentioned by Bahrey. Mohammad Hassan also mentions this battle [2] on pg 178 By the time Hamalmal had returned to Fatagar he must have heard about the Muslim's disaster at Hazalo, where their victorious force under Amir Nur was completely routed by Oromo. The source "History of Harar and Hararis" is not WP:SCHOLARSHIP as it was published by Tourism Bureau of the Harari Regional State. And the other source seems to be a tertiary source aswell. Most realible sources say this was an Oromo victory. محرر البوق (talk) 18:28, 7 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not really convinced since both sources you provided are from Mohammed Hassan and one other is Paulos however I dont want to continue this discussion any further as this is not a priority for me so you can revert my edit, thanks. Magherbin (talk) 04:25, 8 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
