Guru Gobind Singh Ji won the battle. Wazir khan all the army people died in this battle which that's why Guru Gobind Singh Ji won.
- Not done Guru Gobind Singh Ji ran away - the rest of the Sikhs were killed - Arjayay (talk) 13:06, 25 August 2023 (UTC)
Some fact about chamkur
[edit]Few points reg Battle of Chamkaur:
(1) Merely 700 mughals soldiers not millions obviously.
(2) It was a mud house and not a qila (fort).
(3) No battle took place only siege.
(4) Siege lasted just a few hours because in the same night Guru Govind Singh escaped from the house.
.According to contemporary Mughal sources there were 700 Mughal soldiers at Siege of Chamkaur. And, it was a siege, never came to a field battle. After one day siege of the house in which Sikhs were besieged, Guru Govind Singh had to escape in night with a couple of followers.
Correct your knowledge false people false religion false history. 2404:3100:180B:E7D5:1:0:1E0C:1968 (talk) 10:10, 26 August 2023 (UTC)
1,000,000
[edit]In the info-box it says Guru Gobind Singh metaphorically puts the opponents force at 1,000,000, but all the sources cited for it are just a translation of the text and make no mention of anything being metaphorical or literal or anything else. Does anyone have any more sources on this otherwise I will just remove it from the info-box. CanadianSingh1469 (talk) 15:30, 1 November 2023 (UTC)

Jassaltarun16 (talk) 20:12, 17 December 2024 (UTC) I am Punjabi historian specialized in Skh history and in this battle of chamkaur inlogical things are mentioned which are incomplete and lie as well. for example the result of the battle it was won by the guru gobind singh ji because the objective of the mughal army was to capture the guru gobind singh ji and present him infront of the mughal emperor Aurangzeb, which they were unsuccesful in. Secondly, many princely kingdoms names are missing who participated and allied on mughal side against sikhs. many other problems as well which needs to be fixed I will provide reference as well for my justification as well. It's very neccessary for our generation and upcoming generations to know the real history. Because Guru Gobind Singh Ji fought almost 14 wars in his lifetime and never lost a single battle.
