They are the same battle, but neither of the articles is completely correct. The one titled "Battle of Brier Creek," however, is 98% correct and I would simply delete the other article, except for the visuals, which are very good. David Foster Fostlog@yahoo.com

I seriously doubt that a battle which took place in Georgia in the 18th century will ever be confused with a country club in 21st century North Carolina. What the heck is that about?Ismaelbobo (talk) 11:38, 14 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

grenadiers

"900 infantry, cavalry, grenadiers, and militia"

Grenadiers in this context are infantry, the grenadier company being a component element in a battalion, Even when gathered with grenadiers from other battalions to form a composite grenadier battalion, they are still infantry. Probably best removed. JF42 (talk) 00:41, 18 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
