The third paragraph of "The Syrian Expedition" starts with:
"The 'Syrian' army (as it was called, despite its Egyptian contingent) set out in early 742 and arrived in Ifriqiya in July–August, 741."
There seems to be something wrong with the year numbers. But I don't have access to the given source, so I don't know whether for example the first number should be 741 or the second one 742.
