Are bashings an assault? A PoV-pushing link
[edit]one of the most brutal regimes among camps in which bashings were routine
I have removed the link as bashing the heads of PoWs is not against criminal law.--Adûnâi (talk) 04:39, 30 January 2020 (UTC)
- "Bashings" in this context means "beatings" in American English. It is a violation of the laws and customs of war to beat prisoners of war, and has been since before 1939. --Kent G. Budge (talk) 14:31, 30 January 2020 (UTC)
