"Aftermath The camp was officially closed at 17:45 and finally overrun by enemy troops. In the aftermath of the battle the United States suffered 100% casualties on the ground: 5 killed and 12 wounded."

This should be clarified; none of teh Mike Force personnel were Americans? 202.82.171.186 (talk) 02:24, 13 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

"On Sep 17, 2014 then Sgt 1st class Bennie G. Adkins was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor for his gallantry during the battle at A Shau. Many years ago in 1967 then Major Bernard Fisher (USAF) was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor during this battle. This battle produced two Medal of Honor awards"

> The Wikipedia document makes no mention of Major Fisher's gallantry during this battle. It would be fitting to include Major Fisher's contribution in this battle - particularly because Major Fisher recently passed away in August of 2014.
