A fan of the Adam WestBatman TV series from a young age, director Axel Braun was eager to produce a porn parody of the show, saying that, because of its "tongue-in-cheek" nature "it was a perfect candidate for a parody." Braun was dedicated to keeping his film as similar to the original as possible: "I like to do things that look the same...This movie cost $100,000, which is a lot of money for a porn movie. It looks like an episode of the TV show...The costumes are amazing. I went as far as finding the same fabric and dyes.[1] The production rented one of the Batmobile cars that had been used in the original TV series for use in shots in the film.[1]
