Introduction, info box confusing re: current status
[edit]The article opens: “Basho Technologies was a distributed systems company that develops a key-value NoSQL database technology…” (emphasis mine). By mixing tenses, it is unclear what Basho is or does presently. Furthermore, the infobox to the right shows a founded date, but not a date when the company ended, if it indeed belongs to the realm of the past tense. --X883 (talk) 01:06, 14 November 2017 (UTC)
- Basho's existence as an independent operating company ended when it entered receivership on July 14, 2017, see Imminent Liquidation links above. While Basho the legal person may continue on for years, the Asset Sale Announced link makes clear it will be without its current assets and thus becomes an empty shell until formally terminated or recycled for another purpose. – Conrad T.
