True, this article has no room for expansion by me unless book research is done. However, I propose this article stay due to the lack of resources currently on Google on barley honey. If you search for "barley honey", results from Google show only this article and recipes that combine barley and honey, two completely seperate entities. If someone is looking for the actual barley honey, this is the only resource that will tell them what it is - additionally, it is cited in Grocer's Encyclopedia.

I believe this article is a stub that requires writing from a professional in foods.

Agreed, for now, that the removal of the prod was a good idea for reasons of expansion. However, I'm very worried about WP:V issues. If you could find some sort of literature that talks about this phenomenon, it might be helpful. It also might be helpful to make sure this isn't just a term for another more common word.
