It seems Bardowiek and Bardowick are two different cities :

But, I'm not sure if this article correspond to Bardowick. From the link in Encyclopedia Bitannica, it should be Bardowiek.

Bardowiek was a town destoyed in East Germany, I saw the file in the article Inner German border. I was curious because Bardowiek currently redirects to this article. There's an article on the German Wikipedia about the town here, so it would be good to create an English version. 84.92.117.93 (talk) 17:01, 9 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
