Fair use rationale for Image:Barcelona KIA logo.jpg

[edit]

Image:Barcelona KIA logo.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Anomalies with articles and templates that link here and dates stated in article

[edit]

The article indicates that the tournament ran from 2003-2012. However I have discovered that at least two articles that link here are for events that have to have taken place in earlier years. These are the article for the 1994 WTA Tour which links here in reference to a tournament played in April 1994 and the article on Arantxa Sánchez Vicario which links here in reference to an event she won in 1989 (it also suggests she won the same event in 1994). Additionally Template:WTA Tier II tournaments links here for an event from 1993-1997 and Template:WTA Tier IV tournaments has the event in 1990 as well as 2007-2008. Are these errors which actually should link to another even held in Spain? Or was there an earlier version of the tournament/a different Barcelona Ladies Open not covered by this article? If the latter is the case then the article probably should be modified to reflect this. Dunarc (talk) 23:43, 30 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The old Barcelona Ladies Open website [1] said the tournament started in 2003. A different Barcelona tournament Spanish Open (tennis) ended in 1995. We have some wrong links. PrimeHunter (talk) 03:06, 31 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
