What is a Duo-Stamp?
[edit]This article is featured on today's "Do You Know..." (on the home page) with the tantalizing comment: "... that Barbara McGuire invented the "Duo-Stamp," a two-sided rubber stamp that is popular with the stamping community?" BUT neither this article nor rubber stamp (which that also links to) give any clue about what a Duo-Stamp looks like, or WHY it is so popular with the stamping community. Something should be written about this. Otherwise, I feel it was a major blunder to use this point as the advertisement for this article. --Keeves (talk) 13:51, 6 May 2009 (UTC)
NO birth date??
[edit]An encyclopedia article (FEATURED even!) with no birth date given? Looks like nothing more than a vanity page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 162.95.148.252 (talk) 15:02, 6 May 2009 (UTC)
- I wrote most the article and I'd never even heard of a "Barbara McGuire" before, so it certainly isn't a vanity page. I was merely unable to find a birth date in any RS. --ThaddeusB (talk) 16:49, 6 May 2009 (UTC)
