HEDGEROW VITAMINS. Last year Britain's hedgerows produced the biggest ever crop of rose hips, a ten times more valuable source of Vitamin C than oranges. In England and Wales (writes "Dee Mcc") 500 tons were collected, the equivalent of 25,000,000 oranges, estimated to produce 2,500,000 bottles of rose hip syrup for children.
