History
[edit]Can somebody please explain to me these sentences from "History":
- "In 1910, the government moved the district office to the west bank of the Ping River in Tambon Tha Ngiew area and officially upgraded the district at the same time." The government upgraded which district from what to what?
- "The name Banphot Phisai comes from the mountains in the district that look likes row of Prang." According to my dictionary is "Banphot" (Thai: บรรพต) a mountain, a mountain range, a hill, a rock and "Phisai" (พิสัย) district, region, country, realm. What has a Stupa (Prang) to do with this name??
