BPI-BDO placing
[edit]Until such time that the SEC and the Bangko Sentral approve the merger of Banco de Oro and Equitable PCI Bank, BPI is still the second-largest bank. Please do not change for the time being. --Sky Harbor 22:39, 13 January 2007 (UTC)
BPI's location
[edit](the following question was copied from Talk:Manila)
It is said on the article that it's headquarters is located at Makati. But when I wen t to Quiapo, I saw their headquarters near Isetan and an LRT Station. --124.106.123.124 (talk) 08:35, 13 May 2009 (UTC)

Merger proposal
[edit]I propose that BPI Direct Savings Bank be merged here, since it is not substantial or notable enough for its standalone article. Raykyogrou0 (Talk) 11:49, 14 January 2014 (UTC)
Survey
[edit]Feel free to state your position on the merging proposal by beginning a new line in this section with *Support or *Oppose, then sign your comment with ~~~~. Since polling is not a substitute for discussion, please explain your reasons.
- Support - I support the proposal for merging the direct savings bank article into the BPI article, since the former article is too short, does not have anything distinctly different from BPI and the direct savings bank is anyway a sub bank of BPI. Discussion
[edit]Any additional comments: Done
Is it the first bank of the Philippines? or the 2nd bank?
[edit]The article has 2 contrary statements - The history section states that " the bank was the second Philippine bank during the Spanish era" where as the firsts section in the bottom states that " BPI is the first bank in the Philippines, and in Southeast Asia."
Can someone give the correct version, with a reliable reference? - Notthebestusername (talk) 04:37, 3 June 2014 (UTC)
