"Premier" implies that there are others to which it has been favorably compared; nothing in the article supports either. I'm also wondering if the article should be renamed "Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board" (rather long, but technically correct) or if the abbreviation is one of their official designations. 24.6.65.83 20:52, 11 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

As I said when you brought this to my talk page: Also, premier is a synonym for prime in a governmental sense, ie, "the position of the cabinet minister who is in charge of government affairs," (see [1]) and thus by default in British countries, the gov't agencies themselves. It is a dangerous thing to rely on a limited dictionary for a world language. Such dictionaries don't include regional (if you can consider the former British Empire "regional") and cultural variations of usage. It doesn't always mean that it's being compared with something else. As for the name, you have a good point, and the article has been moved. AKRadeckiSpeaketh 01:50, 12 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I only repeated it here because you pointed out that I had failed to do so. 24.6.65.83 05:29, 12 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
