Can't understand why milf hunter was nominated for deletion, when nobody thought to nominate this one. I'd never heard of Bang Bus before yesterday, but everyone knows about MILF Hunter. Alexa ranking of 1,000 vs Alexa ranking of 2,000. Yet votes are 50/50. I urge people who contribute to this page to look at the MILF Hunter site. Personally I think that a lot of people voting just don't like adult sites full stop, and have targetted porn sites on wikipedia to try to delete them all. Oh and just to add to that. From what I read, it appears that Bang Bus was a spin off of MILF Hunter. I couldn't confirm it for sure though. Is this true? Does anyone have any details of this? Zordrac (talk) Wishy Washy Darwikinian Eventualist 07:01, 9 December 2005 (UTC)

Zordrac, you don't understand why a porn site that is dedicated to hunting middle aged women, who are also mothers, has been nominated for deletion? Quite clearly you are a few screws short. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mondoallegro (talkcontribs) 21:05, 4 June 2010 (UTC)

Girls Paid In Advance?
Although the theme of the site is the ease with which supposedly unknown women can be persuaded to engage in hardcore sexual acts, the videos are in fact staged and all the women shown are actresses paid in advance;[1][2] some went on to appear in other pornographic productions. Despite this, Bang Bus is regarded as a highly controversial website, in part due to its popularity and the extreme degree to which it exemplifies the arguably misogynist themes common to hardcore pornography. For these reasons, it has appeared in multiple news stories, particularly in the Miami area, where the site has earned a certain degree of infamy.
According to the news article quoted, the performers are paid after the recording and not before.

Revenue Estimates

This section is very NPOV and unverified. Someone please do so, or it should be deleted.Jbm867 00:24, 30 August 2006 (UTC)

can someone please verify whether or not the show is staged?

*LOL! Someone's obviously new to porn.... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 210.5.236.28 (talk) 10:42, 30 June 2008 (UTC)

Delete this

Strongly recommand you delete this. Flawed by NPOV and unsourced information.

Sanchez leaves the site

Sanchez wrote a bulletin on Saturday in which he claims to have left the site for good. It is indeed his real MySpace profile (http://www.myspace.com/vivalabus). I can't link to the bulletin itself, since you need to be his friend to view it. Would a screencap of the bulletin be a sufficient source? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 68.117.39.165 (talkcontribs) 05:52, 29 April 2007 (UTC).

IMHO, it doesn't matter: MySpace is not a reliable source to begin with. —C.Fred (talk) 06:02, 29 April 2007 (UTC)

Edits on Entner reverted

I reverted an edit on Entner's prior involvement. In order to avoid an edit war, I believe we should discuss Entner's prior involvement with the site on this thread. If you have a problem with Entner's prior involvement with the site, or the fact that this page has been changed to reflect that Entner no longer works for the site, please discuss it here before you revert the edit. Thanks. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by K-lit (talkcontribs) 06:17, May 28, 2007 (UTC)

  • This has been repeatedly added without any reliable source provided. I've removed it again. Valrith 15:02, 28 May 2007 (UTC)
  • Are you denying that Entner no longer works for the site? I would urge you to view any previews on the site now available since March and you will see he no longer appears in the videos. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.76.210.133 (talkcontribs) 20:38, 28 May 2007 (UTC).
    • All that says is that he hasn't appeared in any videos since March. It tells us nothing about his employment status. I think it's a reasonable statement of fact to say he hasn't appeared in any videos, but to say he no longer works there is drawing a conclusion and original research. —C.Fred (talk) 20:53, 28 May 2007 (UTC)
      • The fan site bangbusarmy.com features Entner and several of his bangbus cohorts as participants. Now, I'm not saying these are the real people, but they are very well accepted by that community as the real guys. And it is not unprecedented for Entner to participate in message boards. Bangbros the company once maintained a fansite called bbs.bangbros.com, where Entner participated. His style now is very similar to his participation on that board. So I must ask: If Entner has discussed his employment status on that board and on his MySpace site, how else would we confirm this with a verifiable source? I checked AVN, which is the clearinghouse for porn news, and they didn't even get around to doing a story on Bangbus until the site won its first AVN award, which was four years after the site started! I'm happy to change the entry to reflect the disappearance of Entner from the site, but I feel it must also be mentioned that while not confirmed, there has been discussion of his employment status. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by K-lit (talkcontribs) 02:47, May 31, 2007 (UTC)
  • While there isn't an official news story to cite or anything, if you check vivalabus.com you can see that it is Greg Entner aka D. Sanchez that runs that site. And as a previous person said, anybody that has viewed the Bangbus site in the past year and a half can see that Sanchez no longer works for that site. He has left the BangBros network. I have now changed the article to reflect this.Mistershirt

vulva van

I'm not sure why the reference to Vulva Van was deleted from the Bang Bus page but the Back Seat Bangers reference was left alone. How is one spam and the other isn't? Further, I don't see how either is spam if they both discuss the cultural influence of the topic of the page itself? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.108.227.44 (talk) 21:24, 18 March 2008 (UTC)

Missed the other one... it's been removed as NN as well. Jmlk17 21:29, 18 March 2008 (UTC)

So why not Ghetto Gaggers or Facial Abuse

So, if there's a wikipedia entry for Bang Bus, why isn't there one, for example, for Ghette Gaggers or Facial abuse? Since there's a spate of articles documenting porn sites which abuse women why is one more important than the others? This doesn't make sense.Mondoallegro (talk) 21:04, 4 June 2010 (UTC)

Well, two reasons come to mind:
  • Those websites aren't as well known as Bang Bus. Probably everyone who's ever watched Internet pornography has visited this website at least once. Hell, it's so popular that it was even referenced/parodied in a major motion picture.
  • Bang Bus isn't an "abuse" website. The sex isn't especially brutal or violent compared to you average porn, the woman aren't forced or threatened at any time, and for the most part, seem to be enjoying themselves. If you're referring to the part where they trick the girls at the end of the episode, considering the fact that all of the episodes are staged and that (atleast in the few episodes that I've seen) they aren't forcing or throwing the girls out of the van, you can't legitimately qualify that as abuse. --TwilightDuality (talk) 19:31, 27 June 2010 (UTC)

Well, Twilight, you have no idea what you're talking about: http://www.miaminewtimes.com/2004-10-14/news/the-ride-to-perdition/86.135.69.60 (talk) 17:32, 7 August 2010 (UTC)
