chocolate salt
[edit]The article says that some banana chips may be covered in chocolate salt. What is that? I can find no reference to it anywhere. Should it be "chocolate or salt"? --Colinbartlett (talk) 12:12, 28 February 2008 (UTC)

Not what I've tasted...
[edit]This article describes a few different types of banana chips - none of these descriptions match the chips that I've come across. They aren't deep fried so assume they are dried or baked - however they aren't leathery and chewy by any means, they're crunchy. They also aren't sweet like having been covered in honey, nor salty as in covered with salt - they just taste like, well, bananas. Yeah, chocolate salt is a new one on me too - maybe chocolate covered and salted? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.158.48.90 (talk) 15:44, 18 February 2016 (UTC)
Benefits
[edit]I have improved some sentences which read like a child textbook, but I think that the sources are also not optimal. I'm not sure if health claims like these are appropriate in this article. It may perhaps be better to list nutrients, linking to them, where their articles have more details about their biological functions. Nutitional differences between raw and cooked bananas may be interesting too, and the main banana article could contain more nutritional information. I admit that I rarely edit food-related articles, so I may lack experience with what are considered good practices in this case. 76.10.128.192 (talk) 00:04, 26 January 2017 (UTC)
- This section has now been removed by another editor, so this is solved. Thanks, PaleoNeonate (talk) 09:41, 15 March 2017 (UTC)
