Name

[edit]

I have never ever heard this ensemble referred to as "Mexican Folkloric Ballet" - I think it should be moved to "Ballet Folklorico de Mexico," the proper name of the troupe, which would still be understood by anyone, regardless of language. - AKeen 15:35, 25 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Plagiarism

[edit]

This entire article was apparently ripped off, verbatim, from http://www.houstonculture.org/mexico/ballet.html. Give credit where credit is due! Also, some portions appear to be written in first person and others include irrelevant references to other cultural information that would be better linked to than explained here. Also, note that https://secure.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/wiki/Baile_Folkl%C3%B3rico is another page that exists already. Shouldn't these be merged? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.254.85.2 (talk) 19:23, 7 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Ballet Folklorico de MexicoBallet Folklórico de México – should be straightforward; there's no reason to not have accents for this very truly Mexican company Red Slash 03:08, 13 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support use of diacritical marks on the Spanish name. The translation might be an acceptable alternative if it is shown to be more common in English-language sources, but that case has not been made. 73.222.28.191 (talk) 06:10, 15 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
