Ethnic make-up

[edit]

Since ethnic make-up is an emotionally charged issue, when it is disputed it should only be included in an article with a reliable citation. In this case when OpenToppedBus created the article, OpenToppedBus originally stated the ethnic makeup to be approximately 85% Pashtuns, the remainder being mostly Tajik and Turkmen, based upon the United Nation's High Commissioner for Refugees' report that was cited as a reference. At 08:28, 25 November 2007, Anoshirawan changed the figures, switching Tajik and Pashtuns, without citation. I am restoring the original figures with a direct citation to page 1 of the UN report. --Bejnar (talk) 22:33, 25 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Restored name in Pashto since Pashtuns are majority. -119.152.246.214 (talk) 13:50, 23 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If Pashtuns are in majority and a valid reference is given than the name should be written in Pashto. I request Tajik and other users to keep it like that. (Ketabtoon (talk) 18:28, 23 July 2009 (UTC))[reply]
