About the translation:
bhiksusya balasya
I would translate that simply as of the bhikshu Bala. "Brother" or Friar have a specific meaning in the Catholic monastic order.
baranasiye bhagavato ca[m]k[r?]ame
I would translate that as "in Banares, where the lord used to walk". चंक्रमण is walking around as an exercise. "Promenade" has a modern urban meaning.
