The name is also of jewish origin, through turkey, [1], as a variant of Bachshi, "garden" in turkish, which seems different than bakhshi, or paymaster, from persian (baksheesh). thus some confusion over ralph bakshi, who is jewish not punjabi. i also trimmed out nonnotable names, found links for some notable, and organized by usage of name. i searched WP for internal uses of names, thus the journalist is likely to have an article, but i would not revert if someone deletes him, as disambigs are not properly used for redlinks. I donot why it is hard for people to get it that the information provided about Bakshi Clan is inappropriate by changing it again and again. Bakshi Surname is a surmame used by Sikh and Hindu communities and also is one of the surname used by Jatt Sikh and Khatri both. This really very unfortunate wikipedia is helping the fake editors to make changes continuously and blocking genuine users to edit and upload right information. I do have a book about the origin of Bakshi Clan that is one of Royal Clans and mentions about the Jatt, Khatri, Brahmin, Bengali etc coomunities.
