Bagrat II also known as Bagrat II the Simple (Bagrat regveni)(937-994) was crowned King of the Georgians and inherited Northern Tao (also known as Amier-Tao), while David III (961-1001) received a title of kouropalates and got Southern Tao (also known as Imier-Tao) in possession. Bagrat II was a son of Sumbat, one of the influential person of House of Bagrationi.
On 11 August 2022, it was proposed that this article be moved to Bagrat II, King of the Iberians. The result of the discussion was no consensus. |
