Overhaul

[edit]

I did a pretty fair amount of work on the page tonight. It's still hard to get a lot of information about her, since I can't read Hangul. It could use a little more work if anyone is up to it, but I think I've taken it about as far as I can take it. Robixsmash 06:16, 21 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Overhaul 2013

[edit]

Since the beginning of the month several accounts have expanded the article, adding many unacceptable sources, but generally turning this into a puff piece. I've started a discussion at the BLP noticeboard, with the suggestion that this be trimmed back to a neutral version of March 1 [1]. 99.137.210.226 (talk) 00:47, 13 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I have now rerwritten Bae Doona's text to a more neutral point of view. The information is more up to date and accurate than the previous version of Robixsmash 06:16, 21 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
The article is much more consistent with guidelines for an encyclopedia article. Good work. Probably the 'books' and 'advertisements' sections will go, as these are not particularly notable, and Wikipedia is not intended to be a directory listing everything an artist has done. 99.137.210.226 (talk) 12:39, 13 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

How did you find and take Bae Doona's infobox image?

[edit]

I know it's from a Youtube video and that the video itself has the right licensing for Wikimedia but did you just take a screenshot? How did you input the info when uploading to Wikimedia Commons? Factfanatic1 (talk) 08:17, 8 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Web Series?

[edit]

What's the supposed difference between a Television Series and a Web Series? I mean, TV Series as Sense8 and Kingdom are not on the table of Television Series but on another table of supposed Web Series. Why? What is the distinction?

I encountered severe resistance from one editor when trying to reconcile this on another Korean actor’s page. That editor wants “consistency” across all Korean actors’ pages, which currently use “web series” (which I consider to be incorrect for OTT-first series, as well as inconsistent with the English Wikipedia at large). It is my long-term endeavor to find a better solution. — tooki (talk) 02:52, 8 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Tooki I agree with you that putting OTT-first series as web series on actor's filmography is indeed incorrect. 98𝚃𝙸𝙶𝙴𝚁𝙸𝚄𝚂 03:20, 8 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
