- I initially thought this would be a good change. However, after a bit if looking around I must say I now lean towards not changing it for the following reason: Imho, this proposed change would go past customer expectations. And if we do that, adding plant-based bacons seems fine as well under the same reasoning. But that wouldn't improve the article.
- I found this EU appeal decision that "MYBACON" cannot be used for a fungi-based "bacon", as it is deceptive. The decision also affirms that bacon is expected to be pork. [1] Sklabb (talk) 15:11, 7 January 2025 (UTC)
