WP:NOT a crystal ball
[edit]Recent edits to this page may or may not be true, including the addition of several engines I can find no confirmation of the existance of - also, please do not list forward releases (namely 2007 releases) in the article, since Wikipedia is not a crystal ball. Molly the Yellow Engine, Spencer the Silver Engine - show no existance on the net. I will return to this article in 72 hours, and if sources for the existance of those engines I listed have not been added, I will see fit to go ahead with deletion. Thor Malmjursson 13:28, 22 February 2006 (UTC)
As per the above note, I have now completed deletion of everything which should not have been listed on this page. This includes all the unverifiable information I found, and references to characters who did not appear in Thomas the Tank Engine or any of the books or related stories. Thor Malmjursson 12:39, 28 February 2006 (UTC)
Whoever is flouting what I listed above, please don't. I am removing everything from this page which does not conform to the Wikipedia is not a crystal ball rules. If I see this information put back again, I am going to request administrators to lock the page. Thor Malmjursson 10:54, 15 March 2006 (UTC) Thor's Pet Yack
Another warning re: WP:NOT a crystal ball...
[edit]Yet again, I have reverted unsubstantiated and unsourced information from this article. The offender, 170.161.67.26 has been warned not to add information unless it can be sourced. Thank you for your attention. Thor Malmjursson 19:01, 25 April 2006 (UTC) Thor's Pet Yack
This page is now officially under dispute
[edit]Due to persistant changes to the content of the page, most notably the addition of things which cannot be verified, editors reverting perfectly good information and people like myself putting it back, I have now listed this page as a formal content & accuracy dispute. Editors to this page are now requested to discuss things they intend to do, and get general consensus here before doing ANYTHING to this entry. Thank you for your help and co-operation. Once again...
[edit]Wikipedia is NOT a crystal ball, NOR is it a list of what might be made by a company in the future. Such edits will be deleted. ... discospinster talk 00:00, 31 August 2006 (UTC)
- Actually, I just saw Spencer, Toby, and Emily's coaches at my local hobby store. And for pictures, please see www.ttstation.com .
Page Merged
[edit]The encylopedic content of this page (that is both sentences!) has been merged with Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends merchandise pending deletion of this page.
Lists of models released are not appropriate in Wikipedia, but the existing page content has been preserved at Train Spotting World, where the editing restrictions are much more relaxed. You are encouraged to continue maintaining the article there with appropriate information.
