Notability

[edit]

Looking at it again now, I think it's reasonable to remove the "notability" tag on this page. It's one of the main historic gates of the city and as a result it's mentioned in more than a trivial manner in a few scholarly sources that talk about the city (and of course lots of travel guides, not cited here). When the tag was added the page was just a couple of sentences without references, so I take it that things have improved enough now to revise this. Since there hasn't been any movement on this since 2015 (it's a minor page after all), I will go just ahead and remove the tag. This can always be discussed again here if needed.
On a related note, part of the problem might also be that there aren't equivalent pages for the other gates of Marrakesh and that, among those, Bab er Robb (as well as Bab Ksiba, another page) is not the most significant, so it stands out that there's a page for this but not others. I'll try to partially address this by copy-editing material from Walls of Marrakesh to create some new pages. Cheers, Robert Prazeres (talk) 18:15, 9 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
