18th Edition not indexed
[edit]There should be a section heading to cause the "18th Edition" to appear in the index at the top of the article - or one to cause "Current Edition" to appear. Perhaps "Next Edition" or something should also appear - readers ought to be warned of when a new edition should appear, when it might come into force, and what it may contain. 94.30.84.71 (talk) 22:06, 10 June 2021 (UTC)
- The current edition is at the top of the page. Your suggestion does not seem encyclopaedic. DiscreetParrot (talk) 09:19, 22 January 2025 (UTC)
YouTube Links
[edit]"A picture is worth a thousand words", and an instructive video contains many pictures. So perhaps "See also" or "External Links" could link to some of the more esteemed UK video authors, though viewers should be aware of the risks of watching videos of foreign origin unawares. 94.30.84.71 (talk) 22:14, 10 June 2021 (UTC)
- Doesn't sound like an encyclopaedic suggestion. A random collection of youtube videos is no substitute for the actual regulations and proper education (not that youtube isn't a great place to learn, I've learned a lot there, but to be properly competent with electrics you really need to study books like those from city&guilds or get formal education).
