Looking like an ad? Well, I for sure didn't write that using some PR doublespeak. In fact, I literally copypasted the layout from Yahoo Messenger's. Its article didnt look like an ad too.

I mainly started this article for someone else to expand it. We have hundreds of articles about internet-based chat messengers, but not even a category for local networks/LAN-based chat messengers in the first place. This should get IMO some more attention especially for SOHO (small office/home) networks, unless i'm missing the category's name, if it already exists?

If you feel it looks like an ad, it would be appreciated you make corrections/edits as you see appropriate to the extent of your knowledge on the subject. 80.72.112.70 10:53, 29 May 2006 (UTC) Omegasaid[reply]

about sources

[edit]

the author is romanian, he lives in Romania, and states BORGChat as proudly made in Romania. HE says so, I see no reason to doubt that.

removin ad-looking tag

[edit]

after comparing the 'ad-looking' version and latest version, i believe it does not look like an advertisement anymore. i'll remove the ad-looking tag. if you still believe this is incorrect, please make any necessary corrections yourselves.

AChat is way ahead

[edit]

For the sake of record, AChat http://sourceforge.net/projects/achat/ (opensource & Delphi based) is much better than BORGChat --Rrjanbiah (talk) 16:03, 14 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
