Missing motorcycle production
[edit]This page ignores a very important product made at this plant -- BMW motorcycles. I know they made K1100LT's here for the model year 1995, so they probably made others as well. Flybd5 (talk) 11:49, 6 November 2019 (UTC)
Proposed rename
[edit]Hello. I propose that the scope of this article is widened to include models exclusively sold in the US, sales figures, marketing campaigns, etc. Therefore, the article would be renamed to "BMW in the United States". The current content about the BMW US Manufacturing Company could remain, of course. 1292simon (talk) 13:29, 11 September 2017 (UTC)

[edit]the history of bmw imporys to usa is really lacking . no discussion of the 1600, 2002 or bavaria models or the number of cars sold 173.76.53.33 (talk) 01:45, 3 November 2021 (UTC)
- Indeed. In addition, the article says that the first BMW dealership in the US opened in 1975 but I bought my first BMW, a 1600, from Hafkemeyer Motors BMW in Kansas City, MO, in May of 1970 and my second BMW, a 2002 Tii, from the same dealer in 1972. 2600:1000:A102:8E58:86C5:A6FF:FE2E:D9C5 (talk) 14:55, 11 September 2024 (UTC)
