Why redirect to the BMW Sauber page?

[edit]

The F1.09 is (will be, at the moment) an F1 car by BMW Sauber - but every car (in the modern era, at least) gets it's own page. None of the other F1 cars for 2009 have a page at the moment, so we should either leave the page blank, or start collecting info about the F1.09... But why redirect it to the team's page? The car is yet to be launched and there is very minimal information available on it. Since someone prematurely created it, instead of deleting it was redirected to team article. After its launch, the page can be recreated. LeaveSleaves talk 14:35, 31 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I think it was terrible to redirect it to the BMW Sauber page, so, I made some changes. Fsarmony (talk) 17:39, 6 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Keeping it in this condition put this up on AfD under WP:CRYSTAL, which would either lead to deletion or once again a redirect. Just keep it a redirect under any significant information is available. LeaveSleaves 17:43, 6 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
No prob. The article was already created. I'd rather delete it and wait for the car launch! Fsarmony (talk) 19:06, 6 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Redirect restored. LeaveSleaves 19:29, 6 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Check out fi:BMW Sauber F1.09. It can be useful. --"Cardinalen" (talk) 23:12, 16 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It's not. There is no car yet, so anything here would be speculation. We go through this every year: Wait until after the car is launched to write the article. The359 (talk) 00:36, 17 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
