There's something fishy about the article and the Encyclopedia entry it's hoiked from. The main problem I have is that it's inherently contradictory about what exactly Nachmanides' opinion was. I think that the source text includes a typo. Perhaps it should read that modern scholars diagree with Ibn Ezra / Nachmanides. I'm looking into the issue. --Dweller 14:27, 21 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Merge this back into Azazel

I don't think this page is noteworthy or interesting enough to stand on its own, and could definitely be merged back into the Azazel article. This would also provide a good opportunity to fact-check it, rewrite it, and boil it down to its essentials to prevent the repetition of material between the Rabbinic Literature section and the rest of the Azazel article. Thoughts? --Makaristos (talk) 15:29, 8 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Merge sounds good--Alpha166 (talk) 15:35, 1 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed, though someone actually needs to do the work.
The parent article is not exactly outstanding either.
