Who exactly reported Azad Hind Radio HQ moved from Japanese occupied Singapore to Hyderabad in British occupied India?
[edit]I can't find any trace in the references. :-( It never happened. Hyderabad remained under British occupation. I will delete ", and later to Hyderabad, following the course of the war in Southeast Asia.". If there is a report that the station HQ was moved to some other hopefully Japanese-occupied place after Singapore, please look for it. I can't find it anywhere. "Fight for freedom"?
[edit]Surely the purpose of this station wasn't to encourage Indians to "fight for freedom" as the article currently states. It was to encourage Indians to make trouble for the British in India, and so reduce their ability to fight the Nazis and Japanese. I don't think the independence of India was a high priority for the Germans in Berlin - the Nazis were very keen on colonialism and would have viewed Indians as Untermensch, which the British generally didn't. --Ef80 (talk) 20:44, 8 April 2015 (UTC)
