Identity
[edit]I have been unable to locate a date of birth, current status (alive?, residence?), or any reference to the name that appears on his birth certificate or Social Security... i.e. "real" name. Two online references located through Google ended up as "page removed" or missing. It's almost as though Ay-O has consciously decided to disappear himself from history. The real person's name is Takao Iijima born in 1931. Jean-marc.bottazzi 13:18, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
People fight for an article then don't take responsibility
[edit]I argued and still believe that fingerboxes are not notable and mentioning them only serves as an invitation for vandals. I lost that argument in the AfD discussion. Fine. But not a single user who argued for keeping/redirecting the information has bothered to patrol this page and as such vandalism keeps creeping into this article. I will not take on the responsibility for upkeeping a section that I believe should not exist. I do not understand how someone can find a topic important enough to argue in favor of keeping, but not important enough to maintain. I can only assume that arguing must be more fun than editing.
