Same as Awan (tribe)
[edit]This article seems to be on the exact same topic as Awan (tribe) -- only, all the fake and unreliable data removed by various editors from that page, have now been shifted here. I strongly advise that this page either be removed/deleted or merged with the original one on the Awans. Thank you. 39.54.241.61 (talk) 03:39, 2 September 2015 (UTC)Col (retd) Malik Mumtaz Khan
There is a significant difference in both articles. There is no 'original article' as both articles are entirely different from each other in terms of their content and approach.
Information is backed by references. Please clarify what you mean by 'fake and unreliable data". Pixarh (talk) 15:40, 2 September 2015 (UTC)
- I have redirected per this thread. There was nothing to merge because the statements here are either unreferenced, fake referenced or based on unreliable sources. Unless someone can prove that the Awans of Pakistan are different from the Awan tribe, there is no need for two articles anyway.
- Feel free to expand the Awan (tribe) article ... but only in accordance with our policies. - Sitush (talk) 12:10, 3 September 2015 (UTC)
- As but one example of the problems, consider this removal by me. - Sitush (talk) 15:10, 3 September 2015 (UTC)
The reference is placed right after 'Pakistan' and the reference claims the name of castes and tribes existing in Punjab, Pakistan. What is fake about that? Pixarh (talk) 04:58, 6 September 2015 (UTC)
