Hi NatGertler, I saw your revisions to this page. There's a general dearth of information about the auto transport industry that isn't either naked self-promotion, or lumped in with the rest of trucking/home moving.

I tried to find some neutral sources on broker fraud. The best I could do so far is link to a FMCSA consumer advisory that says there has been a large increase in complaints against fraudulent brokers in recent years. Unfortunately, the document doesn't state actual numbers, and I have been unable to find hard numbers so far, since the FMCSA doesn't appear to publicize fine-grained data about auto transport broker fraud or complaints.

The interview with the auto transport company CEO - clearly not a neutral source, but it's pretty thorough & gives the industry's view of the new regulations. Other pages I've found that go into the topic, such as http://www.autosintransit.com/unheralded-truth-auto-transport-brokers/ , are just straight-up ad copy. Do you think it's possible to use the interview in an NPOV way? Ixat (talk) 21:30, 22 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion of citation 6 and 15

[edit]

I made the following changes 1) removed the 2nd citation under chapter "2012 regulations" the link brings you to a dead web page and this part is already cited by citation 5.

2) I removed part of the third paragraph the chapter industry reactions because the citation (citation 15) is dead and its cited using a press release.

Globalize

[edit]

This article only discusses auto transport brokers in the USA. Presumably they also exist in other countries. Please expand the article to cover this. Verbcatcher (talk) 18:52, 18 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
