Austrian Littoral is wrong! It must be "Adriatic Littoral" (Adriatisches Küstenland, Litorale Adriatico). BTW, this is the same denomination as the Nazis would pick up for their "Operation Area of the Adriatic Littoral" in 1934-45.
Prior to the 1813 start date that this article currently cites, the same (or similar) areas were generally referred to as "the littoral" of the Habsburg monarchy. Is this the article to link to when discussing, say, the littoral area around Trieste in the 18th century? If so, the intro might be clarified. --Delirium (talk) 12:13, 15 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
