I've just moved this article back to Australian general purpose frigate program after several moves. This title reflects the current status of this project, which is a defence acquisition program with no ships being selected. It is in line with the naming conventions used in similar articles - when a ship type is selected and a name selected, the article should be moved to ...-class frigate or whatever the common name is. The sources generally do not capitalise General Purpose Frigate either. As such, I think that this is in line with WP:COMMONNAME. Could any further proposals to move the article please be discussed here and/or advertised via the WP:RM process? The repeated moves left a mess of muliple redirects which the movers weren't tidying up. Nick-D (talk) 23:03, 6 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
