[edit]this article should be moved back to Australian Financial Review because it almost never appears with the "the" prefix in front of it, unlike the The Sydney Morning Herald in which "The" appears in the masthead. the website simply refers to itself as Financial Review. the fact that most the incoming links are to Australian Financial Review attests to the fact that this is the most common version. clarkk 04:43, 16 May 2005 (UTC)

[edit]The comments that are labelled "criticisms" are unsourced and need some reference to back them up. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 60.226.173.11 (talk • contribs) 04:59, 5 July 2006 (UTC)
I deleted the criticism section, as the request for a source has gone unanswered for a long time. I haven't noticed the deleted criticisms appearing in Australian discussion of the media, although the Fin has been criticised on various other grounds JQ 23:23, 18 September 2006 (UTC)
Uploading a low resolution image of the newspaper's front page: Copyrights and Images
[edit]Hi Wikipedia editors, I was wondering whether anyone could shed some light as to how I could upload a non-free low resolution image of the AFR's front page in the infobox section? This is consistent with all other newspaper Wikipedia articles. The purpose of its use would be for the infobox - to provide viewers with a snapshot detailing an example of what the front page looks like. Going off of what davidwr has detailed on my personal talk page regarding WP:Non-free content criteria, I believe that a low resolution snapshot of the AFR newspaper's front page would increase the audience's understanding of the topic by showcasing the visual format of the newspaper. In compliance with criteria 3b, I would make the image's resolution lower than it was before and also crop a portion of the image to make sure only what is needed is shown. I have raised an inquiry through the file upload portal here: https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/File:Australian_Financial_Review_-_20_October_2010.jpg#Summary. Please let me know if you can provide any further guidance on this matter. Thank you! Lebronverstappen (talk) 08:06, 16 November 2020 (UTC)
